Spring is in the air…Well, at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week it is. North America’s biggest runway event runs September 4-11, with Max Azria helping to kick off the first day. This season, for his two brands BCBG and Hervé Leger, the runway and the information highway collide. In the age of social media’s instant gratification, BCBC Max Azria’s Spring 2015 runway show truly speaks to our time. After all, a collection so pretty was meant to be shared. Described as a combination of “timeless elegance and nonchalantly bohemian silhouettes,” the line breezed onto the runway with a free-spirited ease informed by the palette of the ocean (think aqua, ecru, and haze) and was enhanced by geometric crossbodies seemingly plucked from the waters.
So, who will be shopping this relaxed collection? We suspect everyone (and not just because the floaty styles are supereasy to wear). After all, this is a collection made for 2015!
