From the food and fun to the crazy family and inevitable fights,Thanksgiving above all makes us thankful for alcohol. I’m just kidding (mostly), but it is a nice day to have some libations on hand to put a little pep in your party and help you cope with crazy cousins or in laws. Sure, wine is fine, but Thanksgiving is also a great time to come up with a themed drink or two to offer guests. XOXO MOD GIRL SARA!
1 fluid ounce heavy whipping cream (or for a little lighter you can use half and half)
1 fluid ounce spiced rum (Captain Morgans is great)
1/2 fluid ounce pumpkin spice syrup
Whipped whipping cream
Fill your martini shaker with crushed ice and use a chilled martini glass.
Put all ingredients in shaker and shake for a minute or so.
Pour into glass. Top with whipped cream. Grind a little nutmeg on top.
You can also rim the glass with cinnamon sugar and put in a cinnamon stick.
Made with rum, orange liqueur, and lime juice, this drink is delicious hot or cold.
Toast the bird with this delicious concoction of whisky, apricot brandy, and apple juice.
Light and crisp with sweet vermouth, gin, and white cranberry juice. Whole cranberries make a pretty garnish.
With just Pumpkin Pie vodka, apple cider, and club soda, you can make a pitcher of this delicious cider that will have everyone giving thanks.
